What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Covenant House New Jersey?
The Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness of our buildings and maintains a positive attitude at all times. Housekeepers should communicate with others with absolute respect and kindness while ensuring the premises are safe and sanitary.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Clean all assigned areas of covenant house buildings, including reception areas, lounges, residential units, restrooms, and facility perimeter. This will include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Identify appropriate cleaning materials for specific tasks.
- Support the setup and teardown of special events, including cleaning of related linens and equipment.
- Deliver great customer service
- Record and report all damage to the Operations Manager
- Cleaning our Atlantic City YEC & ROP Locations
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
- Required to check emails daily
- All other duties assigned by management staff
Applicant must be available to work Monday thru Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM (40 Hours a week)
