In This Role, The Nursing Supervisor, LPN Will

• Ensure quality of care by making rounds to determine effectiveness of care, resident satisfaction, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist nursing administration peers with but not limited to admissions process, compliance audits, supervision of nursing staff, and assisting DON with investigating incidents.
• Provide skills training/checks to nursing staff and provide guidance and training related to proper care techniques and compliance topics.
• Work closely with the DON and RN manager to ensure nursing department compliance and highest quality of care.
• Assist wound care consultant weekly with resident wound rounds
• Assist with resident/family concern resolutions
• Administer direct and/or emergency care when necessary. Respond to emergency needs of residents. Contact emergency medical services for assistance when required.
• Handle special projects as assigned by DON.
• Assign work areas and relocate staff as needed to assure high quality of nursing care and completion of tasks.
• Assist in orientation of new employee on-boarding by managing the required TB and respiratory mask fit testing.
• Maintain an understanding of residents care needs and be active participant of the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Assure the safety and security of patients through the proper use of equipment, safety devices, and by knowing and following fire, safety and disaster procedures.
• Communicate with other department supervisors, physicians, consultants, staff, residents, and families to coordinate care of residents.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Must be currently licensed as an LPN in the State.
• 2 years nursing experience, required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience, required.
  
  

Compensation Pay Range

$43.00 - $53.00

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
