Responsible for the provision of medical and nursing services for residents and maintenance of related records. Must be alert to
the changes and developments in the health status of individual residents and sensitive to their needs in accordance with
organizational policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate the functions of the health office during designated hours of operations and answer resident questions, including medication management program oversight.
- Respond to resident calls for aid. Collaborate with appropriate persons or agencies when in home services are needed.
- Assist with implementing educational / health programs for resident education and wellness promotion.
- Provide information to family members and staff on current changes in function / condition as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY :
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
Compensation Pay Range :
36.35 - $55.00
Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $36.35 - $55.00. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to : job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
