Part of a nation wide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Covenant Living is seeking a Driver. This position is accountable for providing safe and timely transportation for campus residents and for providing support services as required.
32 or 40 hour work week available.
In this role, the Driver will :
- Operate 14 passenger shuttle bus and passenger vehicles, transporting employees and residents.
- Available for days, evenings, or weekends.
- Physically fit, able to lift wheelchairs and walkers into vehicles.
- Assist senior residents in the safe transfer to and from vehicles.
- Monitor and maintain vehicles : Checking lights and gauges for proper operation. Clean all mirrors, windows, and lights to ensure unobstructed vision and a safe vehicle. Perform daily safety checks. Preform cleaning of interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Manage many different types of errands for office staff which involve transportation.
