What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Qualifications Intern Summer 2025 position at Covenant Logistics?

The intern will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of driver qualification and safety, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations.
Responsibilities
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other department to achieve mutual goals.
- Assist with onboarding of new drivers, including verifying their qualifications, conducting background checks, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Ensure that all drivers comply with federal and state regulations.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help drive efficiency within the group.
- Obtain an understanding of FMCSA & DOT regulations and how they’re integral to the operation.

Pay Range : $13.57-$18.55
