Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum
- Teach students using a variety of instructional methods and materials
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and engage students
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students as needed
- Foster a love of learning and promote critical thinking skills
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to support student success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using learning technology tools and resources
- Ability to adapt teaching style to meet the diverse needs of students
- Experience in mentoring or guiding students is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills
- An understanding of the NativityMiguel model and its mission
