Covenant Special Projects (CSP) is currently seeking full-time Security Officer's to become an integral part of our Lexington, KY based team. The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risk to facilities and persons.
Essential Functions:
- Perform as member of a Protective Services Detail and/or stands alone protection officer / patrol security officer
- Recognize probable threats and mitigate risk to principle and property by applying proper counter-measures (response techniques, tactics and procedures)
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, first responder or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must possess a current KY CCW / License to Carry permit
- Must possess a current KY drivers License and Current Insurance
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check including a ten (10) year criminal and credit check
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a Physical Fitness Test

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
