New restaurant in Downtown Stuart, Florida opening in the next 2 weeks! Coventry Cafe will serve farm to table American faire. Grand opening will feature dinner service, and eventually progress into an all day brunch/lunch menu.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest services in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while upselling additional items to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Clear tables of dishes and utensils as guests finish their meals, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- A keen interest in culinary arts or upselling techniques will be beneficial in enhancing the overall guest experience.

Pay: $21.21 - $23.30 per hour
