Position Title: Manufacturing Technician (SEASONAL April-August)
Position Purpose
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks to support the efficient, safe, and accurate production of company products. This role ensures that customer orders are fulfilled to specification by assembling, inspecting, testing, packaging, and shipping products in accordance with established procedures and production schedules.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
Prepare raw materials and components for assembly.
Follow work ticket instructions to process and fulfill production orders.
Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
Test and inspect finished products for quality assurance.
Obtain quality inspection and written approval from the Department Team Leader.
Package and seal products accurately and securely.
Load finished goods and materials onto delivery trucks; unload incoming materials.
Start up, operate, and shut down machinery and processing equipment safely.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist the Department Team Leader with inventory tracking and control.
Report any equipment malfunctions, product defects, or safety concerns promptly.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions and order specifications.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in basic math; ability to measure, calculate, and interpret numerical data.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and basic quality standards.
Works well both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
Manual dexterity and ability to handle materials and equipment with hands.
Visual acuity including color and peripheral vision; clear verbal communication required.
Regularly exposed to varying environmental conditions including noise, dust, odors, extreme temperatures, and moving machinery.
