Cover It Painting is the fastest growing painting company in the state of Pennsylvania. The company is unique as it specifically services businesses and real estate investors of all sizes. Cover It Painting creates a competitive advantage through tech and math to create a better end user experience in what is historically an antiquated industry.
This position will be the business development manager responsible for the growth of South Central Pennsylvania for Cover It Painting. It will be reporting directly to one of the two founders and owners of the company. Like most fast growing companies, Cover It Painting is a very exciting company as it is on a mission to build the best painting company in the Mid-Atlantic region. To reach it's mission, it needs to continue to find the most energetic and enthusiastic team members to join the team. Functions of the Business Development position:
- Grow the revenue for the South Central PA region
- Attend events to meet and network with potential clients of the company
- Build referral relationships with other vendors in the space to create growth opportunities for both companies
- Estimate jobs for new construction builders using basic pricing guidelines (no prior experience in painting is needed)
- Figure out who the right decision maker is at various companies to help them with their painting solutions
- Check in with current clients to ensure satisfaction, solve any problems, and open up growth opportunities
- Creative problem solving to open up new relationships for the company
- Work in a high speed, fast growing company as a leader
Traits that the ideal candidate should have:
- Must be goal oriented and passionate about building growth of an innovative company
- Must be capable of learning quickly and improving their relationship building
- Must have strong communication skills and be capable of building long-term partnerships with companies.
- Previous successful experience selling to other businesses
- Must live in South Central Pennsylvania
- Must be willing to attend events occasionally at nights or occasionally on weekends
- Must be able to work full time on this position.
- Must have a strong work ethic
Compensation is a mix of base and bonus, with no cap to the bonus upside compensation.
