What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Implementation & Strategy position at Covera Health?
About the role
We are looking for a Director of Implementation & Strategy to help deploy our leading radiology AI technology and network into the healthcare system through our strategic partners & customers including health plans, employers, radiologist practices, utilization management vendors and more. This senior role will require a strategic and technical skillset to lead all external implementations with various external partners in order to optimize the deployment of our technology in order to maximize patient outcomes and downstream savings for our partners.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Lead the implementation process with new/existing customers and providers in partnership with internal technology and operation leadership from early stage implementation to successful post-launch hypermonitoring. This includes education of our products and programs to our external partners to confirm strategic alignment and proper technical configuration of our data exchanges and network to optimize operational efficiency downstream.
- Strong customer and relationship management skills in order to solve complex problems at the forefront of innovating radiology technology across the healthcare space. This includes leading regularly occurring implementation meetings, ad-hoc initiatives, and other client success projects.
- Utilize your deep knowledge and best-in-class expertise of the health system, API integrations, PACs integrations to partner with technology leadership to create scalable workflows to maximize the value and efficiency of our programs to our partners.
- Craft articulate and effective narratives through PowerPoint, Excel, etc. to external and internal stakeholders to drive alignment on key strategic and technological decisions for Covera products & programs.
Special Considerations:
This position offers hybrid (if local to NYC) and remote work options, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central Time Zones. There will be occasional in-person meetings at our NYC office located at Penn 1 for team collaboration.
Your profile:
- 5 years of experience in implementation, technical integrations or similar with specific industry alignment for US healthcare insurers and health systems
- Strong executive presence, with a track record of managing external relationships and working through technical integrations in the healthcare space (API integrations, PACs, Gateway, etc.)
- Self-starter excited about leading in innovative projects and passionate about changing the US healthcare landscape through AI

The minimum and maximum salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, expertise and location.
