Covert Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM Quality Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and quality control, with the ability to operate computer-controlled measuring machines (CMMs) and perform inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-piece approvals and final inspections
- Operate CMMs and other inspection equipment
- Assist with IN-Process sheets and disposition of non-conforming material
- Set up gages prior to use and perform duties as requested by the Quality Supervisor
- Properly use and read gages, including process audits
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Self-motivation and good verbal communication skills
- General understanding of machining processes and basic blueprint reading
- Able to operate a forklift and have knowledge of mathematical calculations
