The Inside Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for pricing, sales and service issues, and new opportunities in support of financial goals that are aligned with the overall business metrics of the North America Specialty Films business. They will coordinate opportunity management, forecasting and demand planning using existing tools and processes and implements new tools where necessary. The Inside Sales Representative will also have regional responsibility for selected global initiated projects/programs and support regional MarCom activities and commercial reporting.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop business at select accounts; Develop relationships with key personnel and decision makers, deliver pricing using company guidelines and participate in negotiations as needed, develop sales budget and forecasts supported by account plans; collect and document market intelligence and competitive information, and share with business team; provide monthly account activity reports and consistent tracking of opportunities.
- Engage internal stake holders, develop account plan and drive execution for top revenue inside accounts and sub-segment group accounts.
- Develop and close target pipeline to support business growth.
- Maintain opportunity database, interface with field team and directly with customers as needed to keep data current, track estimated pipeline value and provide input to risks and upside forecasting.
- Regional responsibility for selected global initiated projects/programs as needed, e.g. C4C key user, customer satisfaction survey.
- Provide sales and marketing support to commercial team and independent sales reps, including pricing and margin analysis, forecasting deviation and target pipeline analysis. Collaborate with MarCom Lead and Segment Managers on regional MarCom activities.
- Develop product training materials and conduct internal and external product training, translate information from other regions and business units where appropriate.
- Provide support to field sales team to optimize efficiency of commercial organizations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years’ commercial experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the chemical industry
- SAP expertise with data analysis skills
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in digital platforms and business software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
