What We Offer
The position manages Elgin pilot, providing stable and safe operations, maximizing efficiency, and driving continual improvement. This position also supports shipping and receiving and chemical waste management for the site.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manages Elgin pilot operations, including acquisition of raw materials and supplies, scheduling, producing, documenting, facilitating preventive and reactive maintenance, and adhering to EHS and Quality requirements
- Responsible for producing FOM specialty products to forecast
- Owns the pilot chemical inventory
- Supports site shipping and receiving of chemicals and equipment, including shipping of dangerous goods
- Supports site hazardous and non-hazardous chemical waste management
- Supports pilot risk assessments, including process safety, machine safety, HAZOP, management of change, and chemical hazard analysis
- Supports R&D physical and analytical testing and small scale lab synthesis
- Member of the Hazwoper team
$56,280-$104,520.00

What You Offer
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or related degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years of experience within a chemical, ink or coating facility
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- High level of organizational and process management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong focus on internal/external customer satisfaction and quality
