The Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Adoption Consultant plays a crucial role in navigating complex business processes and the rapidly changing opportunities and risks of AI. They promote and facilitate the effective and efficient adoption of AI across Covestro, contributing to the implementation of AI initiatives in alignment with business objectives and IT architecture.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the exploration, development, evaluation, and implementation of AI use cases, and translation of business opportunities and challenges into tangible AI applications.
• Project responsibility in AI projects using agile and design thinking methods, from conception to realization.
• Responsible for bridging between business units, functions, and technical teams to foster mutual understanding and alignment of AI capabilities and business requirements.
• Responsible for communication and engagement initiatives that ensure organizational awareness and broad participation in the AI transformation.
• Responsible for developing and conducting training and support initiatives to ensure user-friendly adoption and optimized utilization of AI solutions across various user groups within the organization.
• Responsible for measuring, interpreting, and communicating the impacts of generative AI solutions in the context of relevant financial and operational metrics, to ensure transparency and insights into the value and performance of AI initiatives.
• Responsible for thorough documentation of generative AI initiatives to maintain a repository that supports strategic planning and implementation of future AI endeavors.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Journalism, Business Process Management, Computer Science, IT Management or a related field with 7 years of relevant work experience; OR Master’s degree with 5 years’ of relevant work; OR PhD with 3 years’ of relevant work experience
• Extensive experience in the field of AI and related technologies
• Experience working in an international environment with virtual teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD preferred

• Ability to navigate a rapidly evolving technological landscape
• Ability to translate business opportunities and challenges into actionable applications and strategies
• Friendly and confident demeanor with the ability to interact and influence at all organizational levels
• Core understand of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, LLMs, and related AI topics
• Ability to craft compelling narratives that convey insights and engage stakeholders
• Collaborative, team player mindset
• Proven track record of quickly learning and applying knowledge to creatively solve problems
