Telemetry RN
Detroit, MI 48202
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract, Extendable (On-site)
Shifts: Mon-Fri: 7:30a-4p (Stress Tests) & 8a-4:30p (TEEs and float/ and satellites). Weekends: 5:30a-2p (Board runner) & 8a-4:30pm (Stress test- CDU/ER and bubble studies). 40 hours.
Pay Rate: $54-55/hr. or $2160-2200/week on W2 benefits
Summary & Requirements:
- Current MI RN licensure, BLS & ACLS certifications through AHA
- Previous telemetry/stepdown experience
- Must be able to read ECG while printing, patient assessment skills are paramount.
- Floating required
- Candidates will be administering stress tests, TEEs, and assisting with lab related items on floor as needed to support ED/CDU.
- Assessment skills will be of the upmost importance as the RN will be monitoring patients during stress tests and will need to be able to react to changes in patient condition with speed and accuracy.
- Weekends will be two RNs on schedule - weekends are rotational Schedules are created 5-6 weeks in advance with weekly reminders.
