Summary: Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Assistant Supervisor, keeps premises of the facility, apartment houses, residential homes and other buildings on company grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Competencies and skills:
Essential:

* Must be able to organize thoughts in a clear manner, effective oral and written communication skills; must possess public speaking skills; must be an active listener and possess conflict resolution/problem solving skills.
* Knowledge of the aging process and its effect on our residents
* Knowledge of the basic services provided by residential and skilled nursing facilities and other community agencies, ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
* Knowledge of community resources available
* Knowledge and ability to train and to supervise other social service staff and volunteers as needed.
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

* Follows highest standards of cleanliness. Follows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines.

* Follows department safety standards, practice body mechanic techniques and participate in campus-wide safety programs

* Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Wears PPE/safety equipment as required for the job. Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor.

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Nonessential:
* High School diploma or GED
