We are seeking a technical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician will provide technical support to our engineering and manufacturing teams, as well as play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient creation and maintenance of CAD designs and Bills of Materials for our products. This position requires an electronics background, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Support engineering department in the development, design and testing of company products and components.
- Prepares technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software.
- Create and maintain accurate BOMs for our products, ensuring alignment with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement requirements.
- Manage component data in the BOM database, including part numbers, descriptions, manufacturers, suppliers, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to gather input, resolve issues, and address changes to BOMs.
- Assists with the troubleshooting and repair of company products.
- Provide support to the engineering and manufacturing departments.
- Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects.
Skills
- Electronics training.
- Knowledge of electrical principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Understanding of BOM structures, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Must possess a high attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
