We are a multi-doctor, canine and feline general practice hiring for a full-time veterinarian (3 or 4 days per week), welcoming both experienced vets and new grads. As a privately owned practice serving our community since 1937, we focus on patient care and team well-being over corporate-driven metrics. Medicine You Can Trust - Everyone in our hospital is Fear Free certified and is provided a CE stipend. We educate pet owners on their options for care and you have access to quality equipment, facilities, colleagues, and other resources to practice top-notch medicine within a client’s budget. We have standards of care and organized workflow so there is continuity of care across our team (i.e. vaccine schedules) and you can trust that others around you are practicing a similar style of medicine. At the same time, you have the autonomy to practice medicine how you see fit based on the pet and owner in front of you (i.e. anesthetic protocol, lab panels). 

• We have monthly doctor meetings to discuss cases, revise standards of care, discuss carrying new drugs, and more. You have a voice! We grow and learn together.
• Recent Grad? Our doctors love to share their knowledge and we can provide mentorship to grow your skills.

Flexible Scheduling & Less Stress - No nights or Sundays. Rotating weekends off. Workload is commensurate with going home on time. A typical day is 7:30am - 5:30pm with 1hr for personal time and additional 2hrs of unscheduled time for catchup and medical records. A full time doctor will typically have 3 days seeing appointments, and 1 day of surgery/dentistry. 

• Need certain days off? Have child care responsibilities? Special interest in dentistry? There is flexibility in your schedule based on individual needs and preferences, let’s talk! We work together to get shifts covered and allow time off with no guilt.

Excellent Paraprofessional & Management Support - We have a greater than 5:1 support staff to DVM ratio including 6 RVTs. Our support team is highly trained and loves to learn new skills and be trusted with responsibility. They want to help and support you!

• We are on a mission to utilize our licensed technicians and general support team to the highest level. We need doctors who will help build up our support team and are willing to delegate responsibilities to them.
• As a privately-owned practice, we offer approachable, responsive management, ensuring a fair and supportive environment with quick and effective solutions for our team’s needs.

Clients With Similar Values - Civility matters. It’s a partnership with clients to provide great patient care and we believe in open communication, mutual respect, and trust. While we have many amazing clients, if we consistently don’t see eye to eye with a client, we discuss if the relationship should continue.

Compensation & Benefits - We prioritize creating a rewarding and fulfilling environment where veterinarians thrive professionally and personally.

• Starting Salary: $120,000 for new grads to $170,000 for experienced veterinarians, based on a 4-shift workweek 
• No contracts or production-based compensation. We believe in fostering a collaborative environment where veterinarians can focus on quality care without the pressures of production goals, but if you'd prefer a contract for added security, we're open to that too
• Three weeks paid time off time off for the six major holidays
• $2,500 stipend & 3 days off for CE annually. This is not a hard limit. If the CE, certification, training etc. is more than that, just show how it can help the hospital. We love to invest in professional growth.
• 80% coverage of medical insurance, plus dental, vision, and life insurance.
