What are the responsibilities and job description for the INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE 1:1 ASSISTANT position at Covina-Valley Unified School District?
The Vacancy: There are several part-time (3.75 - 6 HOURS A DAY) positions at various school sites. Positions are for special education classes, and one-on-one instructional classroom aides to work with students with special needs (including behavioral, medical, etc.). This recruitment will also be used to develop an eligibility list to fill future part-time vacancies and substitute/temporary positions in this classification for up to six months.
The Position: Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, provide individualized instruction and guidance to students with intensive academic, behavior, emotional, adaptive, and/or physical needs. Perform a variety of special duties relative to the assigned student in addition to performing the regular duties typical of an instructional aide. Individual duties may vary based on the student’s needs and the particular assignment.
Salary : $21 - $26
