What are the responsibilities and job description for the INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE - CLASSROOM position at Covina-Valley Unified School District?
The Vacancy: There are several part-time (3.75 HOURS A DAY) Instructional Aide permanent positions at various school sites. Positions are for special education classes, and one-on-one instructional classroom aides to work with students with special needs (including behavioral, medical, etc.). This recruitment will also be used to develop an eligibility list to fill future part-time vacancies and substitute/temporary positions in this classification for up to six months.
The Position: Under immediate supervision, to assist the classroom teacher and other certificated personnel in the performance of their duties and in the supervision of pupils and by performing those tasks which are supportive of the instructional program and conducive to the academic, physical, social, and emotional growth of the student; and to do related work as required.
Salary : $21 - $26
