We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with SUBACUTE experience to join our team!
SCHEDULE: Full Time on a 4/2 schedule ONLY - PM/NOC
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements
- Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program
- Minimum one (1) year of Sub-Acute experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Compassion towards residents and their families
Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities
- Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse
- Such care includes assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings
- Organizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothly
- Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs
- Use proper body mechanics when necessary
- Perform and document rounds of patients and report any changes
- Provide companionship and excellent care to patients
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Prioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needs
- Proper lifting and transitioning residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.
- Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activities
- Be punctual and professional
- Other duties as assigned
Pay Scale:
$19 - $21 / hour
Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
