Position: Stockroom Assistant
Location: Okmulgee, Oklahoma Open: 02/13/2025 – 02/27/2025 or until Filled
Position: Fulltime 40 hours and overtime work as needed.
This position supports the requests and logistical movements of aircraft engines, parts and materials world-wide. The role will assist in maintaining accurate stock levels to guarantee materials available for maintenance events to avoid service disruptions of aircraft being out of service due to parts.
Essential Responsibilities:
Employees can have all or be specialized in a few of the following tasks:
• Maintain stock / inventory
• Learn to process incoming parts
• Learn small package shipping
• Build consumable kits, which include pulling parts from the shelf to create an assembly build kit
• May train other employees and help in other departments as required
• Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor
• This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School or GED certification
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Good verbal and written communication skills – email and memos
• Ability to read and write English
• Proficient with computers with basic Microsoft word processing software and email management
• Warehouse Operations Knowledge, experienced with shipping, receiving and stocking practices
• Ability to multitask
• Dependable
• Good attendance
• Able to lift 50lbs and stand during extended times
• Tolerance for repetition
• Stooping, bending, climbing ladders required
Preferred Skills:
• 1 years in a warehouse environment
• Inventory background experience
• Aviation Materials Knowledge, familiar with parts numbers, descriptions and handling
• Hazardous materials shipping and handling, knowledge of HAZCOM and general shipping procedures.
• Forklift driving experience
