What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Administration Specialist position at Covington Civil and Environmental LLC?
Covington Civil and Environmental, LLC is on the lookout for a dynamic Project Manager and Grant Administration Specialist to enhance our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee compliance throughout the entire project and grant award lifecycle, which includes everything from proposal / application development to contract negotiation and award closeout. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in federal grants, particularly with 2 CFR 200 and federal disaster recovery programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the full award lifecycle, from pre-proposal to closeout, including contracts, grants, subgrants, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Assess contract readiness, review sub-award application files, and conduct budget reviews and cost / price analyses. Draft and negotiate subcontracts and subgrants.
- Facilitate successful award implementation by guiding and interpreting terms and conditions.
- Advise on project-specific procurement, sub-award requirements, compliance, and flow-down provisions.
- Compile and prepare supporting documentation as directed by the Project Manager / Program Manager.
- Engage in significant spreadsheet work using Microsoft SharePoint and Excel.
- Coordinate project activities and maintain oversight.
- Collaborate with grant recipients effectively.
- Perform data analysis, entry, and reconciliation.
- Organize and manage digital files systematically.
- Assist in the documentation and enhancement of processes and procedures.
- Carry out other daily duties as assigned.
