Wound Care Nurse Aide provides care to Wound care patients and handles intake and discharge process as assigned.
Requirements
Must hold current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing in the State of Mississippi
Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care experience preferred
CPR / BLS certification required
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides patient care to Wound Care patients and handles patient intake and discharge process as assigned in accordance with hospital and nursing standards
Participates in quality improvement initiatives, providing education to patient and caregiver, and serves as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care
Collaborates as needed with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Providers, the Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs
