The Sonographer renders independent professional care to patients as directed b the Medical Staff and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the Hospital. Works under medical direction where final and ultimate authority, judgment and clinical decision making are the responsibility of the physician. Must be capable of independent judgment when confronted with acute, critical or life-threatening situations. Standard practice should require the technologist to proceed alone in administering emergency, life sustaining procedures until such time as judgment making responsibilities ma be assumed by the physician.
Position : Full Time; Medical, Dental Vision Insurance; Long- and Short-term Disability; 401(A); PTO / STO.
Requirements
- Must be graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program, Associates of Arts Degree and Registered Medical Program and / or Bachelor of Since Degree
- CPR / BLS required
