Warehouse Associate/Driver

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Helper/Driver to join our team. The Warehouse Helper/Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from the warehouse to various locations. You will also be receiving new stock and stocking new product on shelves. You are required to have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Forklift experience is preferred.

Must be 21 for insurance purposes

Must be able to safely lift up to 100lbs solo

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods and materials from the warehouse onto the vehicle
• Transport goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure that all goods and materials are properly secured during transport
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any problems to the supervisor
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Pack and unpack goods, as well as checking in, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory.
• Keeping the warehouse clean
• Operate forklift and vehicles
• Load and unload materials
• Take inventory of materials shipped or received
• Store, count, and open materials received
• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods
• Fill warehouse orders
• Label boxes to identify materials
• Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
• All other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience operating a forklift, and pickup truck
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of technology and machinery used for transporting or storing materials
• Understanding of inventory
• Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
• Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage
• Ability to work well with others

Working Conditions: The Warehouse/Driver will spend most of their time driving and loading/unloading goods and materials. They may be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Physical Requirements: The Warehouse/Driver must be able to lift heavy objects (75-100lbs) and stand for extended periods of time. They must also have good hand-eye coordination and be able to operate a variety of vehicles.

Salary: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
