Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Charge LPN to provide quality resident care, oversee nursing staff, and manage patient care. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, implementing care plans, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment while advocating for residents' well-being.
- Supervise and coordinate the nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Perform assessments and assist in the development of individualized care plans for residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor residents' health status and document changes in condition promptly.
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, including training and evaluation.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies to maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor
Basic life support (BLS) certification and CPR certification are required.
