Director of Nursing (DON)
We are looking for a Registered Nurse at our new Heber location to oversee resident care planning, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate with healthcare providers. This role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality care, effective collaboration between families, and staff, and supporting a safe and compassionate environment for our residents.
Location: Heber, UT (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Day shift, 30 hours a week, Rotating Weekends & Holidays, On-Call as needed
Pay: $60,000-65,000 annually
Responsibilities:
- Resident Assessments & Care Planning – Conduct assessments upon admission, every six months, and as needed; develop and update individualized care plans in coordination with healthcare providers.
- Medication Management – Oversee medication administration, train Med Techs, monitor medication records (MARs), and ensure compliance with medication protocols.
- Staff Training & Development – Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and training to caregivers and Med Techs to enhance care quality and regulatory adherence.
- Resident & Family Support – Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns and fostering a supportive environment.
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation – Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and assist with audits and surveys.
- Quality Assurance & Facility Support – Participate in staff meetings, lead quality assurance initiatives, and assist leadership in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-quality care environment.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Utah
- Active CPR certification
- 1 years of home, health, and hospice experience (Preferred)
- 1 years of management experience (Preferred)
