Service Technician - Full Time

Cowart Industrial Service LLC, is focused on servicing the non-hazardous waste water management needs of businesses and industries throughout the Southeastern United States. Cowart was founded in 1974 as a septic tank pumping service company. In 2006, the company expanded to industrial service work. Cowart’s knowledge of industrial service and the demand for the service pushed our company to grow. Cowart has grown into a full service, non-hazardous waste management service organization. We are looking to add new members to our team.

Purpose: Perform municipal hydro excavating/ sewer cleaning services and vacuum hose operation safely and efficiently

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform wet and dry vacuum truck operation & functions
• Perform Sewer Cleaning Services, including Camera Video operations
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies
• Perform manual tasks and assists Operators and Crew Leaders
• Perform general maintenance tasks necessary to keep machinery, equipment, and tools in operable condition

**Must successfully pass a drug screen.**

Must complete all required safety-related training including, but not limited to :

Must be able to operate a utility/pickup truck for hauling people and equipment

Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds

Must be able to enter Confined Spaces such as close quarters, crawl spaces, manholes, and other areas which could cause claustrophobia for cleaning purposes

Must possess a safety-first attitude

Must possess a positive working attitude

Must complete all required safety-related training including, but not limited to:

TWIC, 10 Hour OSHA, Confined Space, Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, Breathing Air Equipment Training and Fit Test, Confined Space Entry, Aerial Lift Training, Lock Out Tag Out, Heat Stress, MSHA, Defensive Driving, Hazard Communications, and H2S
