We are looking for a Dynamic Customer Service Representative / Receptionist to join our team. You will work our front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will check patients in and out, take payments in person and over the phone. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. You need to have great customer service. You should be able to deal with emergent situations in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and time management skills are essential for this position. This role will be part time with about 10-15 hours weekly with the opportunity to grow. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. Previous experience is a plus but not necessary, training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Enter patients into the EMR
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception and lobby area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. scanners, fax machines and printers)
