What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Education Instructor position at Cowboy Driving Academy and Alert Driving School?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Behind the Wheel Instructor to teach our driver education courses. As an Instructor, we expect you to be inspiring and a good communicator.
- Candidates to provide in-car instruction to students ages 15 and above in our Stillwater and Ponca City locations.
- The schedule we are hiring for is a minimum of 20 hours per week from 4-8 pm and 2 Saturdays per month, with additional daytime hours during summer months.
- Up to 40 hours per week are available in the summer when daytime hours are available.
- A Nationwide, Fingerprint background check is required.
- There is a 2-6 week certification process that you complete at your own pace which includes training pay at the completion of the certification process.
- The certification steps are 16 hours of in-car observation/training, 10 hours of classroom observation and successful completion of a 30 hour online training course.
- Starting Pay from $16 to 20/hour
- We provide the vehicle for driving instruction.
- Must be 21 or older to apply
