FACILITIES MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Facilities Manager
Position Status: Full-time Support Staff; Salary, Thur-Mon
Supervisor(s): Elders
Purpose:
The Facilities Manager maintains and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment, grounds, and facilities on the Cowboy Fellowship campus. This job position ensures the campus is ready for regular business and special events to include events at the arena.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities and grounds, such as delegating or completing maintenance tasks for all seasons throughout the year
- Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, sanctuary, classrooms, parking lots, arena, and outdoor recreation spaces
- Regulate heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide appropriate temperatures and ensure economical usage of fuel, water, and electricity
- Negotiate quotes and contracts with service providers and outside vendors to include timely completion of recurring orders
- Provide vendors with access to facilities and answer questions
- Oversee building projects, renovations, and refurbishments while communicating updates
- Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for Elders and relevant staff
- Facilitate the files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment with the Finance Secretary
- Collaborate with Elders on budgeting for facility needs and recommendations for purchases to include major repairs
- Prepare arena for events and provide tractor support
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance and inspection on all facilities and equipment
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Supervisory:
- Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments for maintenance/custodian team
- Oversees and supervises the quality of work for maintenance/custodian team to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Frequent walking, standing, and climbing while working indoors and outdoors
- Requires some heavy physical work: heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds and heavy lifting and carrying
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
- Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as high temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
Qualifications: Prefer 2 to 4 years of experience in facility management plus the following job-related skills:
- Basic working knowledge of building utilities to include plumbing, air conditioning, water filters, lighting, etc.
- Operate and service tractors with shredder and drag, mowers, and outdoor equipment
- Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites
- Ability to maintain a digital data base of records and warranties
- Technology skills such as general computer operation, email, Google Drive, Google calendar, etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to include conflict management skills

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
