TITLE: Customer Care Representative; Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
DEPARTMENT: Customer Care
JOB SUMMARY: This position participates in the provision of customer services.
MAJOR DUTIES:
o Answers telephone and greets customers; provides information and assistance.
o Adjusts customer accounts as appropriate.
o Arranges payment plans for customers.
o Accepts and processes service agreements, water meter applications, transfer deposits, and account terminations.
o Responds to customer complaints.
o Prepares and makes deposits.
o Provides service to customers at drive through window.
o Price night drop-box payments.
o Operates a two-way radio to relay information to field personnel.
o Balances petty cash.
o Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
o Knowledge of Water and Sewerage Authority policies and procedures.
o Knowledge of the principles and procedures of record keeping.
o Knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service.
o Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.
o Skill in the use of computers and job-related software programs.
o Skill in oral and written communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
o Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
o Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
