Reports To: Shipping Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Shipping Floor Personnel is responsible for organizing and managing shipments in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves working directly on the shipping floor to ensure accurate packing, labeling, and preparation of goods for dispatch. The Shipping Floor Personnel will collaborate with the shipping team to meet daily goals, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing & Sorting: Accurately pack and label products based on customer orders, ensuring items are secure for transit.
- Shipping Preparation: Assist in preparing orders for shipment by verifying product quantities, state inspections and state stamps, and following all shipping methods.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping floor environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to meet deadlines and ensure smooth shipping operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.01 - $17.53 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
