What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Noxious Weeds / Signs position at Cowley County?
Cowley County Public Works is accepting applications for a seasonal position with Cowley County Noxious Weeds and Signs. Applicants must be 18 years old.
Applicants will assist with the identification of noxious weeds species, operation of a spraying unit for herbicides, application of proper herbicides for identified noxious weeds, and assist the signs technician with the repair, replacement, and/or placement of warning, guidance, and 911 signs within Cowley County.
Applicant must have obtained a high school diploma or acceptable equivalent, maintain a valid driver’s license, and pass a drug screening. Starting salary is $13.47 hourly while working 40 hours a week.
