Environmental Health and Safety Manager – Cumberland, RI

We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for a permanent position with a manufacturing company in Cumberland, RI. This role requires a strong background in environmental auditing and experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the ISO14001:2015 Environmental System
- Manage site safety programs, including committee meetings, onboarding, and safety training
- Utilize and manage environmental platforms such as Assent, iPoint, Ecovadis, or Higgs
- Track and report standard environmental metrics (waste, electrical and water usage, etc.)
- Handle annual site chemical inventory reporting and safety data sheet management
- Oversee audiometric testing, hazardous waste disposal, and compliance documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Biology, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental health & safety within manufacturing or pharma
- Experience with environmental auditing is required
- Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal training

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 DOE
