Key Responsibilities
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
- Test, analyze, and select materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness
- Evaluate current packaging methods and costs, create improvement plans based on input from the Manufacturing floor and data analysis
- Ensure consistent packaging and quality across the organization
- Improve performance and efficiency of the Packaging Process
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering w/0–2 years experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Creo, etc
- BASIC knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- BASIC machine shop experience and strong mechanical aptitude is a plus
