Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Yorktown IN
The Manufacturing Engineer Manager role will be accountable for delivering Manufacturing Engineering solutions to the Programs and Operations organizations. Y
You will deliver year on year conversion cost productivity targets along with the site leadership team.
You will:
- Drive structured management of Bids, New Product Introduction and Improvement projects
- Specify and evaluate equipment capability and development of business cases for new manufacturing processes.
- Be accountable for the design and management of technical data, encompassing process models, work instructions, and tooling within CAD & PLM systems, specifically utilizing NX & Teamcenter
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices and ability to lead Continuous Improvement projects across all disciplines throughout the facility and/or adept in data collection, analysis and statistical process control (Six Sigma Green or Black Belt)
- Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
- Project / Program Management experience and familiarity with AS9145 process or equivalent
Educations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR
- 10 years of ME experience in lieu of a degree in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering Leadership/Supervisor or management role
