CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Procurement Specialist for one of our top manufacturing clients in Stoughton, MA! This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a competitive salary of $70-80K and excellent benefits.
About the Role:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating vendor terms, and ensuring timely procurement of materials to support production. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge manufacturing processes, contribute to cost-saving initiatives, and drive supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to meet budget and production goals
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for cost-effectiveness and quality assurance
- Use MRP systems and supplier performance metrics to assess and improve sourcing strategies
Inventory & Order Management
- Source and procure industrial materials based on engineering specifications
- Process purchase orders in Epicor Vantage/Kinetic (MRP System)
- Optimize cost and delivery performance with blanket and lean replenishment orders
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify market trends and cost-saving procurement strategies
- Improve purchasing policies and internal processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business objectives
What We’re Looking For:
3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience
Ability to analyze contracts, technical documents, and engineering specifications
Proficiency with MRP systems and strategic sourcing
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
