Production Supervisor - PCBA
Full-Time | 1st Shift | Morris, CT
CoWorx Staffing is seeking a Production Supervisor for a PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) department in Morris, CT. This role is responsible for leading the manufacturing team, overseeing production operations, and ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics or circuit board manufacturing and strong leadership skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the PCBA production team, assigning work and ensuring daily productivity goals are met.
- Oversee work order maintenance and production scheduling.
- Manage attendance, PTO scheduling, and employee training.
- Operate and understand PCBA production equipment and processes.
- Support the Quality department, assisting with inspections, red-tag processes, and field returns.
- Communicate with Material Handlers to ensure materials are staged and ready.
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Ensure lot traceability and maintain accurate production records.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams for equipment servicing and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology) knowledge preferred.
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the electronics or circuit board industry is required.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production tracking systems.
