Quality Inspector
Full-Time | 1st Shift | Watertown, CT

CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Quality Inspector for a leading LED lighting manufacturer in Watertown, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly those skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review supplier documentation, certificates of conformity, and material certifications for compliance.
• Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products.
• Use measurement tools and testing equipment to assess product quality and functionality.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and document findings accurately.
• Tag, segregate, and document non-conforming materials for further action.
• Identify and report defects or non-conformance issues to relevant teams.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Attend team meetings to discuss quality performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification in quality assurance is a plus).
• 1-3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
