Cox Automotive is seeking a skilled UX Architect II to design and implement user-centered digital experiences. As a key member of the team, you will envision and plan the overall UX interaction design implementation across digital platforms, ensuring a usable, familiar, and successful experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs by participating in user research activities, including persona development, heuristic evaluation, and usability reviews.
- Assess existing information architecture, content, and design on an ongoing basis to identify experience gaps and contradictions.
- Create user stories and flow diagrams, defining information hierarchies and protecting the consistency of the overall user interface.
- Collaborate with technical teams to determine data accessibility and understand technology constraints/advantages for the design structure.
- Examine web analytics to inform overall UX design strategy and help facilitate the visual design and content of reusable components and the design system.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field or a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design methods, techniques, and principles.
- Experience working with teams on large-scale, long-term projects and group facilitation.
- Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Axure, Figma, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lead and influence without direct authority and establish UX methodology, processes, estimates, and deliverables.
