\We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential Broadband Technician to join our team at Cox Communications. As a key member of our installation and repair crew, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their connectivity needs are met with efficiency and expertise.
\What You'll Do:
\- Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video, high-speed internet, telephony, and automation services.
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently between office or home, warehouse, and work sites.
- Monitor Cox's work enablement system for changes to work schedules and assignments.
- Communicate with the CommCenter for onsite support and/or routing assistance.
- Interact with customers, educating them about services and products.
- Work under supervision, consulting with supervisors and other technicians as needed.
- Ensure quality of services meets industry and company performance standards.
- Participate in team meetings and attend job-related training.
- Work with alarms, low voltage electricity, and color-coded wires.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality recordkeeping of transactions.
