Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
Cox Enterprises is looking for a talented Senior Software Test Engineer to join our software quality assurance team. In this role, the Senior Software Test Engineer will conduct testing activities in an Agile team / environment supporting Workday HCM Talent Management across the enterprise. The ideal candidate has Test Automation experience and a strong functional background with an understanding of Workday HCM applications.
What You'll Do :
- Partner with analysts, customers, and developers to gain an understanding of functional requirements and business processes.
- Proactively influence design reviews by sharing subject matter expertise and highlighting risks.
- Identify and prioritize high value test cases.
- Partner with Quality Engineering team on manual and automation strategy / standards and the build-out of automation test scripts.
- Drive results while completing quality assurance testing on an agile team.
- Participate in the development and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test scripts.
- Execute test cases that may include unit, functional, system, stress / load, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
- Provide accurate metrics and status on testing progress.
- Certify readiness for User Acceptance Testing.
- Facilitate functional, regression and UAT testing with business users for all new features in Workday HCM application.
- Improve and Grow
- Support continuous improvement of our QA process by receiving feedback and implementing changes.
- Apply advanced knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and techniques to test and ensure software / platform quality.
- Exhibit a growth mindset while learning innovative technologies and techniques.
- Formalize test procedures.
- Create efficiencies with both manual and automated testing capabilities.
