This role is responsible for the daily and quarterly processes associated with the ITRM renewals, third party labor, and other cost containment opportunity requests within Technology. This includes leading the quarterly ITRM review process, approval processes for incremental purchases, automation of workflow intake, and program metric development and score carding.

This role is responsible for the daily and quarterly processes associated with the ITRM renewals, third party labor, and other cost containment opportunity requests within Technology. This includes leading the quarterly ITRM review process, approval processes for incremental purchases, automation of workflow intake, and program metric development and score carding.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Leads the quarterly process to identify upcoming quarterly software maintenance renewals, including assigning owners, validating data, and categorizing
- Guides the approval process for ITRM renewals, third part labor requests, and other cost containment ideas
- Automates the workflow/intake of requests through approval
- Develops usage metrics to inform license and usage capabilities
- Develops metrics and KPIs to track performance on cost containment program that would include savings figures from the Finance scorecard
- Proactively looks forward to future ITRM renewals, partnering with owners to identify opportunities
- Facilitates software and hardware inventory reconciliation on complex projects that span multiple groups
- Leads effort to identify investment opportunities for system retirements
- Manages the strategic process for containing third party labor costs, including organizing third party labor quarterly business reviews with SVP and EVP audiences
- Analyzes third party labor data for reduction recommendations
- Partners with Supply Chain on RFP development for strategic labor sourcing projects
- Organizes the bi-monthly PowerPoint for our TOPS meeting, a large cross-functional executive-level call (AVP, VP, SVP, EVP) focused on the health of the business
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
- BA/BS degree in related discipline with 4 years of experience required in a related field OR 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent executive presence, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
- Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of Cox Communications
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, team environment
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong communication skills. The ability to successfully understand and communicate analytics artifacts, business insights, and resulting implications to non-technical business partners
- Demonstrated experience in process automation
Preferred
- MS degree 2 years of experience preferred in related discipline (Information Systems/ Computer Science); OR Ph.D up to 1 years of experience in related discipline (Information Systems/ Computer Science)
- Experience in Telecommunications or Broadband industries desired
