Cox & Company, Inc is looking for a Test Engineer with the knowledge of aerospace industry test standards. This includes EMI testing such as radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility, pin injection, electrical power quality and transients, as well as environmental tests such as temperature, shock and vibration.
Requirements :
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with aerospace industry test standards. Your primary duties will include :
- Test Plans and Procedures : Write detailed test plans and procedures in accordance with RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.
- Support Equipment Definition : Define and specify necessary support equipment for tests, including wiring harnesses, electrical interfaces, vibration fixtures, and instrumentation.
- Test Planning and Execution : Plan, conduct, and evaluate tests to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Data Management : Collect and analyze data methodically to present findings to customers and management.
- Communication : Regularly update Engineering Managers and Program Managers on testing status.
- Coordination : Coordinate test witnessing and schedules with customers and test facilities.
- Supervision : Supervise outside laboratory tests as necessary.
- Reporting : Write comprehensive test reports summarizing test results and compliance.
