We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fleet Records & Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and supporting the overall supply chain process. This position requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to inventory control, making it essential for maintaining efficient operations within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for production and sales.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Utilize data analysis skills to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and production schedules.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize the flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain.
- Assist in sourcing new products and suppliers to enhance inventory offerings.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Support production planning efforts by providing timely data on inventory availability.
- Analyze financial data related to inventory management to inform decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including pickup and delivery times.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of vehicle inspections, insurance and registrations
- Quote loads using 3rd party brokers and delivery.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
- Proficiency in data mining and data analysis skills to support inventory management decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of financial analysis as it pertains to inventory management is advantageous.
- Experience with production planning is desirable.
- A background in supply chain management or related fields is advantageous.
- Ability to take instructions well.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations, IFTA filing requirements, etc.
