Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse Opportunity
As a Medical-Surgical nurse at Cox Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Role Description:
- This position involves managing the care of adult or geriatric patients experiencing general medical conditions or surgical procedures.
Main Duties:
- Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Ensure accurate and detailed patient records
Required Skills:
- Holds current RN licensure in the state of employment
- Minimum 2 years experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Experience working with IV drips highly beneficial
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Additional Requirements:
- Must be fully vaccinated against the flu
- Minimum distance requirement of 100 miles from the facility applies
- Previous employees of CoxHealth must have left the organization for at least 2 years
