Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical-Surgical nurse to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals at Cox Medical Center.
Job Overview:
- This role involves managing the care of adult or geriatric patients experiencing general medical conditions or surgical procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and adjust care plans accordingly
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Ensure accurate and detailed patient records
Necessary Qualifications:
- Holds current RN licensure in the state of employment
- Minimum 2 years experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Experience working with IV drips highly beneficial
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Important Information:
- Must be fully vaccinated against the flu
- Minimum distance requirement of 100 miles from the facility applies
- Previous employees of CoxHealth must have left the organization for at least 2 years
